The Elghansa Showroom App is a native Android application developed for Elghansa (elghansa.ru) to support in‑store product presentations. The app is installed on tablets and kiosk devices in showrooms and allows staff to browse and showcase the full product catalog: categories, detailed specifications, high‑resolution images, and promotional materials.
Since the app is used directly in front of customers, the main goals were stability, clarity, and offline reliability. I designed and implemented a simple, visually clean interface optimized for larger screens, with intuitive navigation for non‑technical users. To avoid any issues with slow or unstable internet connections inside showrooms, the application downloads and caches product data and images locally, keeping the experience smooth and responsive.
My responsibilities covered the full development cycle: requirements clarification with the client, UX planning, architecture design, implementation in Kotlin, creation of custom UI components for the catalog and product views, local data storage and caching, and long‑term maintenance and updates as the product line evolved.
